The latest issue of Open City is great.  I enjoyed it cover to cover, which is unusual for me.  Usually there’s a dud.  There was no dud.

The issue has excerpts from Jonathan Dee and Sam Lipsyte’s forthcoming novels, and many  great short stories.  Three of the stories were from from new writers – at least, this was their first publication.  What an impressive and auspicious debut for Michael McGrath, Sarah Malone and Leslie Maslow
