Wes Anderson’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr. Fox looks good. That said, I’m  getting increasingly frustrated every time I recognize the voices/people doing the VO in animated movies. It really ruins the experience for me.  In this case, George Clooney=fox. Fine. Not great, but acceptable, and not because he’s supposed to be a fox, or something.  I don’t fancy him, it just works (a bit).  But Bill Murray=badger?  No. And I like Bill Murray.  These movies would be so much more enjoyable if I didn’t associate characters with actual people that I’ve somehow been tricked into thinking I “know”  and can picture.
