However, The Hairpin shared a post from musician/producer Blockhead’s blog yesterday where he talked about working with LDR way back when she was Lizzy Grant (not so long ago, really), and that got me all involved, at least temporarily. I may be purposefully disinterested in her, but I am very into him, or at least the music he makes and produces. I’m not exactly sure why I feel he’s a solid guy, but I’ve always had that sense, and his post pretty much confirmed that. He defended her in a logical and informed manner. He spoke from actual personal experience, and he dealt with her fairly. He didn’t have to chime in, but he did. (He also revealed interesting things about making music in the process). That’s the way it should be, right? It made me feel okay about the world.

I’ve had it for years, but I’ve always used it as a reference book and dipped in with an agenda. I think it might be time to read the whole damn thing once and for all.
